Slovak Commercial register

Slovak commercial register registers all entities of Slovakia required by law, such as :

• companies,
• cooperation,
• other legal entities,
• legal entities set up according to the legal act of the European Union,
• companies and organizational branches,
• natural persons with permanent residence address in the Slovak republic that are making business according to Commercial Code and must be registered according to the law.

Collection of deeds is a part of Commercial register. It contains act of memorandum, any modifications of statute of the company, trade license, or other certificate / license proving authorization to provide business activity, decision of the court on cancellation of the company with liquidation or without liquidation, final report of the liquidator, contract on sale of a company.

All documents must be registered at Commercial register. Documents in the Commercial register are public to those who prove that they have the right to be informed about the matter of request.

Practically the Commercial register is located at the Regional Court of regional cities in Slovakia.

If there are any changes in your company you are obliged to inform the Commercial register within 30 days from the date of change.
